I changed the title of this piece, not one of my best works.

Bristol Vellum, if I remembered right

The horse's name is Blue, he was rescued by my friend's father just before he was sent to the slaughter house.

As for the horse's neck, some of you mentioned, is just it's true color. The horse is not pure black, he has some white dots under his neck and belly

Please excuse the quality, that's the best I can get from my camera.

What I learned from this piece: if you can't think of a good enough background, it's better not to have one at all

All critisisms are welcomed.

Maybe it's not your best, but I think it's one of your better ones. Fantastic job. The neck looks a bit odd, but I'm assuming it's just because the horse is a blue roan?

I think it's an excellent piece. I think everything works really well, with the minor exception of the neck. The neck just doesn't seem to match the rest of the drawing.
